Toys”R”Us Canada™ Launches Stay-at-Home Play Initiative

TORONTO, March 20, 2020 /CNW/ – Toys”R”Us Canada™ announces Stay-at-Home Play, an initiative designed to help families stay engaged and connected during challenging times. The plans include Stay-At-Home Play Packs, the launch of the ‘Wash Your Hands Challenge‘ – a dance-along and scrub-along song on TikTok™, as well as videos on YouTube™ to help you have fun at home. 

‘R’ Stay-at-Home Play Packs are designed to keep big imaginations and little hands busy while school’s out.  Available exclusively online is the “R” Family Fun Play Pack for kids of all ages that includes a great combination of art, sensory, building and gaming experiences! For the kiddos 4+ the “R” Big Imaginations Play Pack, whichencourages all imaginations to run wild with crafts, building and sensory play activities. And finally, we have the “R” Little Hands Play Pack, full of creative activities for our kids 1 – 4 years old!  We will release more exclusive Play Packs across a variety of price points.  

Written and produced byToys”R”Us Canada™, the ‘Wash your Hands Challenge’ has officially launched on TikTok™ to share an important message and make hand washing fun. Toys”R”Us Canada™ hopes to encourage families to have dance and wash-along on their own.

Launching next week, Toy”R”Us Canada™ will start releasing YouTube™ videos featuring ‘R’ beloved mascot Geoffrey™. With his playful approach, Geoffrey will share a variety of free child and family play ideas from unboxings to interactive games and DIY activities.
