“I am delighted we were able to come to this agreement with the CBC,” said David Sparrow, ACTRA National President. “The 1.5 per cent increase to minimum fees during this difficult time is great news for our hard-working members.”

“As our industry begins to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, the parties agreed to extend our CBC Radio and Television Agreements for one year and include terms that will provide gains for our ACTRA performers,” said Marie Kelly, ACTRA National Executive Director. “This deal balances the needs and interests of our members along with the industry’s. I am grateful our members put their trust in the bargaining team and ratified the Agreements.”

With the current CBC Radio and Television Agreements having expired June 30, 2020, the 1.5 per cent increase to minimum fees will be retroactive to July 1, 2020.
